Spartan volleyball comes back from loss with win over Prairie Central

Kennedi Burnett collected 13 kills and Payton Vallee had 10 kills on Monday (April 12), but St. Joseph-Ogden dropped a 25-22, 25-22 Illini Prairie Conference volleyball decision at home to league champion St. Thomas More.
Burnett also had nine digs and an ace. Vallee contributed six digs.
Becca Steinbach posted a double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs. Hannah Fox totaled 16 digs and Rachel Divan had one kill and one block.
On Tuesday (April 13), SJ-O notched a 25-15, 25-16 triumph at Prairie Central.
It was the third time this spring that the Spartans followed up a loss by winning their next match.
Burnett just missed a double-double with 10 digs and nine kills. She also landed one service ace.
Shayne Immke put down seven kills to go with three digs. Fox wound up with 10 digs and two aces. Vallee contributed six kills and five digs.
Steinbach dished out 22 assists.
SJ-O (13-3) returns to action on Thursday (April 15) at home against Illinois Valley Central.
