Eli Ronk accounted for all 14 of Oakwood’s points on Tuesday (May 25) in the Vermilion Valley Conference meet at Salt Fork.
Ronk was the runner-up in the 800 meters (2 minutes, 14.98 seconds) and placed third in the 1,600-meter race (5:14.81).
Meet champion Salt Fork had 174 points. Runner-up Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin totaled 101. Oakwood ended eighth in the nine-school meet with 14 points.
The Comets return to action on Wednesday (June 9) in a Class 1A sectional at St. Joseph-Ogden.
