The Comets had one participant in the Wednesday (June 9) Class 1A boys’ track and field sectional meet at St. Joseph-Ogden.
Senior Eli Ronk ran fourth in the 800 meters. He was timed in 2 minutes, 13.73 seconds.
Ronk placed 16th in the 1,600 meters in a time of 5:53.69.
He scored four points for Oakwood, which tied for 14th in the 18-school meet.
Ronk did not qualify for state in either of his events.
