Five Heritage runners competed in the Saber Corn Classic cross-country meet on Saturday (Aug. 21) at St. Thomas More.
There were 2-mile races for each age group and each gender.
Among eighth-grade girls, Kiara Jones was second out of 87 participants with a time of 14 minutes and 20 seconds.
Among eighth-grade boys, Eli Denmark-Collins was 43rd in a field of 102 with a time of 15:52.
In the race for seventh-grade boys, Clark Roland was 18th (14:58) and Clayton Thomas was 35th (16:54). There were 94 competitors in the race.
Among sixth-grade boys, Christian Paul was eighth out of 79 runners. His time was 14:33.
Among sixth-grade girls, Leah DelRossi was 25th out of 70 runners in 18:46.
