The Comets dropped their volleyball season-opener on Monday (Aug. 23) at LeRoy.

The Panthers topped Oakwood 25-19, 25-21.

Karsen Rupp led Oakwood with seven assists, Madison Doan had five kills and Nikita Taylor had three kills.

The Comets (0-1) return to action on Thursday (Aug. 26) at Armstrong-Potomac.
