Broadlands is ready to host their annual Homecoming Festival after COVID-19 mitigations canceled the event in 2020.
The Sept. 11 will include:
9:00-Myron Luth Memorial Kittenball Tournament (call Megan: 217-649-3776 if you’re interested in playing!)
10:00-Vendors
-Kid’s Games/ Inflatables/ Dunk Tank
11:00-Kid’s Bike & Pet Parade (decorate bikes @ the church at 6:30 on Fri. or come already decorated!)
-Fish Fry Lunch, served by Community Club
-Hometown Band, live music
1:00-Kid’s Peddle Tractor Races
2:00-Potty Races (all ages, teams of 2, $50 prize for 1st place)
-Bingo

-Watermelon Eating Contest
4:00-Community Parade, including Heritage HS Marching Band
-Honor service members & 1st responders
4:30-House of Brisket BBQ food truck
-Moo Mobile
-Bags Tournament
5:00-Little Mr. & Miss Heritage show
