Four members of the Oakwood High School Girls’ Cross Country team have earned Athlete of the Week honors after their performance at the Cowchip Classic Saturday.
Juniors Allie Morris (21:13.7), Addie Wright (30:09.1) , Brylie Smith (30:21.8) and Freshmen Aubri Elliott (22:33.9) secured their personal bests through the rural course that was soaked from the days’ rain.
Earlier this season, Morris finished ninth at the Saber Corn Classic as the team finished ninth, just six points away from a top-five finish.
