Ty Pence poured in 36 points in the first game of his junior year on Tuesday (Nov. 23) as St. Joseph-Ogden powered its way past Denmark (Wis.) 63-52 in the Washington Boys’ Basketball Shootout.
Pence swished four three-point shots and connected on 10 of 12 free throws.
After Denmark pulled within 45-44 after three quarters, Pence put up 15 points in the final period to keep the Spartans in front.
SJ-O (1-0) returns to action on Tuesday (Nov. 30) in the Toyota of Danville Classic against Cissna Park.
