The Oakwood/Salt Fork wrestling team opened its season on Tuesday (Nov. 30) with a 38-31 dual-meet victory at Centennial.
The Comets had four grapplers win by pin: Bryson Capansky (138 pounds), Reid Dazey (145 pounds), Joe Lashuay (160 pounds) and Doug Myers (195 pounds).
Other teammates who won by decision were Carter Chambliss (120 pounds), Pedro Rangel (126 pounds), Reef Pacot (132 pounds) and Brysen Vasquez (170 pounds).
Oakwood/Salt Fork (1-0) returns to action on Tuesday (Dec. 7) at Clifton Central in a meet that also includes St. Joseph-Ogden.
