Six Comets went 2-0 for the night on Tuesday (Dec. 21) as Oakwood/Salt Fork secured two dual-meet wins at Canton.
O/SF decisioned the host school, 45-34, and overpowered Knoxville, 52-27.
Winning twice on the mat for the Comets were Pedro Rangel (two pins at 126 pounds) and Reef Pacot (one pin at 132 pounds).
Teammates who were unbeaten for the night, but had one forfeit win, were Carter Chambliss (120 pounds), Bryson Capansky (one pin at 138 pounds), Grant Brewer (one pin at 145 pounds) and Reid Dazey (one pin at 152 pounds).
Comets who ended 1-1 for the night, without a forfeit win, were Brayden Edwards (106 pounds), Brysen Vasquez (160 pounds), Joe Lashuay (also 160 pounds), Doug Myers (195 pounds) and Harley Grimm (220 pounds).
Oakwood/Salt Fork (7-3) returns to action on Wednesday (Dec. 29) at Abe’s Rumble at the Bank of Springfield Center.
