Ashlynn Pinnick and Addie Wright provided Oakwood a potent 1-2 punch on Thursday (Jan. 6) as the Comets dispatched Chrisman at home, 52-13, in a Vermilion Valley Conference girls’ basketball game.
Pinnick registered a game-high 19 points. Wright tallied 18 points.
During a second quarter when Oakwood expanded a 13-3 lead into a 36-5 halftime margin, Pinnick collected eight points while Wright and Karsen Rupp made six points apiece in that time frame.
Oakwood (7-13) returns to action on Monday (Jan. 10) at home against Milford.
