Six St. Joseph-Ogden wrestlers won matches on Tuesday (Jan. 18), but the Spartans lost a dual meet at Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, 48-37.
Winning by pin for the Spartans were Garrett Denhart (138 pounds), Hunter Ketchum (182) and Owen Birt (195 pounds). Holden Brazelton (126) recorded a technical fall victory. Teammates Emmitt Holt (113) and Matt Falls (145) captured wins by major decision.
Ketchum had the fastest fall, 33 seconds. Birt’s pin came in 1:16.
SJ-O (6-14) returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 20) at Clinton in a meet that also includes El Paso/Gridley.
