St. Joseph-Ogden jumped into a 13-7 lead after one quarter at home on Saturday (Feb. 5) and never trailed thereafter, topping Tolono Unity, 49-27, in a girls’ Illini Prairie Conference basketball game.

Ella Armstrong led the Spartans with 10 points. She was followed closely by Alyssa Hamilton (nine points), Peyton Jones (nine points) and Taylor Wells (eight points).

SJ-O (19-7) is 9-0 in IPC games and will try to secure an unbeaten conference record on Monday (Feb.7) at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
