Panthers head to Regional Championship game

The St. Joseph seventh-grade volleyball team suffered a season-ending loss on Monday (March 7) in the championship match of an IESA Class 3A sectional at home against Warrensburg-Latham.
Warrensburg knocked off the Panthers, 25-21, 27-25, to advance to the state finals.
St. Joseph ends the season with a 19-2 record. Eighteen of the wins were in two sets.
The St. Joseph eighth-graders opened their postseason tournament schedule on Saturday (March 5) at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda and scored a 25-12, 25-16 victory.
The Panthers (13-6) handled Oakwood in the semifinals on Tuesday (March 8), 25-17, 25-22, to move into the championship match against top-seeded Bismarck-Henning on Wednesday (March 9) at 6:30 p.m.
St. Joseph is riding a six-match winning streak.
