Oakwood, the No. 6 seed, ousted third-seeded Westville in a Class 3A IESA volleyball eighth-grade regional at St. Joseph on Saturday (March 5), 18-25, 25-23, 25-23.
Oakwood dropped a season-ending 25-17, 25-22 decision to the host Panthers in the semifinals on Tuesday (March 8).
The Oakwood seventh-graders bowed out of the regional at St. Joseph with a loss in the quarterfinals to Westville, 25-6, 25-1.
