Spartan baseball defeats BHRA

Griffin Roesch pounded three hits and Connor Hale added two hits on Friday (March 25) as St. Joseph-Ogden’s baseball team returned to action for the first time in a week and decisioned Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at home, 9-2.
Roesch drove in three runs. Hale and Luke Landrus each had two RBI.
Charles Voorhees scored two runs.
Tyler Altenbaumer (2-0) worked 4 1/3 innings and didn’t allow an earned run. He allowed four hits, walked two and struck out nine.
Caleb Ochs pitched the final 2 2/3 innings. He surrendered two hits and one walk. He fanned two and did not allow a run.
SJ-O (4-1) returns to action on Monday (March 28) at home against Salt Fork.
