Heritage baseball gets first win of the season

Heritage scored a first-inning run on Monday (April 11) and never trailed in a baseball game at Cerro Gordo/Bement en route to its first win of the spring, 8-5.
Kolton Junglas drilled three hits and knocked in two runs. Jullyan Gray added two hits. Robert Holloman also had two RBI.
Brodie Meneely, who captured the pitching win, scored two runs as did Brennan Struck.
Meneely pitched six innings, walking one and striking out four.
Gray worked a hitless and scoreless seventh inning.
Heritage (1-3) returns to action on Monday (April 18) at Tri-County.
