Zach Ruwe and Hunter Montgomery each secured top-six finishes for the Heritage boys’ track and field team in the Friday (April 22) Tuscola Open.
Ruwe placed fifth in the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 7.79 seconds.
Montgomery ended sixth in the 1,600 meters (12:03.58).
Heritage finished 15th in the 16-school meet with three points. Meet champion Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond totaled 118 points.
Heritage returns to action on Friday (April 29) in the Spartan Classic in St. Joseph.
