By Fred Kroner
St. Joseph-Ogden rallied from a halftime deficit on Monday (Sept. 5) to deal visiting Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin a 4-1 setback in a non-conference soccer match.
B-H/R-A led, 1-0, at intermission.
Jackson Greer scored the equalizer in the second half, with an assist from Aiden Cromwell. Ryker Lockhart put in the go-ahead goal, with Greer assisting.
Freshman Jacek Slowikowski’s first career goal, assisted by Cromwell, increased the margin.
The final goal was a penalty kick courtesy of SJ-O goalkeeper Hunter Ketchum, who registered seven saves.
On Tuesday (Sept. 6), Ketchum captured 18 saves at Fisher, but the Spartans were unable to crack the scoring column and dropped a 2-0 decision.
SJ-O (4-2-1) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 12) at Blue Ridge.
