Clark Roland captures second place at Monticello Invitational

Heritage’s Clark Roland finished in second place on Saturday (Oct. 1) in the 158-runner Monticello Junior High boys’ cross-country invitational.

Roland’s 2-mile time was 10 minutes and 58 seconds.

Teammate Christian Paul placed 16^th with a time of 12:08.

In the girls’ 134-runner varsity race, Heritage’s Leah Delrossi ended in 80^th with a personal-best time of 15:03.1.

In the girls’ open race, Heritage teammates Rylen Stierwalt and Gwen Keely were timed in 17:32.1 and 20:17.4, respectively.

Heritage returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 8) in the 18-school IESA Class 1A sectional at St. Thomas More.
