By Fred Kroner
Senior Alexis Day hit two three-pointers on Thursday (Dec. 15) to increase her team-lead in that category, but Heritage dropped a 75-14 decision in a girls’ basketball game at Cerro Gordo.
Day scored a team-high six points and has netted six three-pointers for the season.
Faith Latham and Loran Tate each tallied three points against Cerro Gordo and teammate Adena Paul added two points.
Heritage (0-7) returns to action on Wednesday (Dec. 21) in the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Tournament. The Hawks will play Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg in the 6 p.m. game.
