SJ-O girls’ basketball uses 3-pointers against Chillicothe IVC

Freshman Addison Brooks pumped in a team-high 12 points on Thursday (Jan. 12), but the St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team suffered a 42-35 loss at home to Chillicothe IVC.

All of Brooks’ baskets came on three-pointers on a night where the team made nine of its 13 field goals from three-point range.

Addison Frick notched nine points on the strength of three three-pointers. Katie Ericksen bagged one three-pointer and ended with seven points.

SJ-O was 0-for-5 from the free throw line.

The Spartans (7-13) return to action on Monday (Jan. 16) against St. Thomas More.
