The Heritage eighth-grade volleyball team earned a three-set victory at Rossville-Alvin on Thursday (Jan. 12), 31-29, 8-25, 25-17.
On Saturday (Jan. 14), Heritage went 1-2 at a tournament in Cerro Gordo. The win was over LeRoy, 28-26, 13-25, 15-11.
The losses were to Cerro Gordo/Bement, 25-21, 20-25, 15-6, and to Decatur Lutheran, 25-21, 25-5.
On Tuesday (Jan. 17) at home, the eighth-graders swept Oakwood, 25-8, 25-20.
The team has a 5-3 overall record and is 3-1 in three-set matches.
The Heritage seventh-graders split their two matches on Thursday.
The A team dropped a 25-12,25-16 decision at Rossville-Alvin while the B team was triumphant, 25-17, 29-27.
On Saturday, the A team had three matches at Cerro Gordo and defeated LeRoy, 11-25, 25-13, 15-7. The team lost to Cerro Gordo/Bement, 25-23, 29-27, and to Decatur Lutheran, 25-16, 25-19.
On Tuesday (Jan. 17), the seventh-graders defeated visiting Oakwood, 25-13, 25-9.
The A team has a record of 3-5. The B team has a 3-0-1 record.
Heritage returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 19) at Prairieview Ogden.
