Decatur Lutheran ends Heritage’s winning streak

Decatur Lutheran put up 53 first-half points on Tuesday (Jan. 17) and ended Heritage’s winning streak at two games with a 76-49 victory in Broadlands.
Drew Williams landed a team-high 17 points for the Hawks and connected on both of the team’s three-pointers.
Julliyan Gray and Rylan White each finished with 11 points. Joel Bear added four points.
Decatur Lutheran led, 25-16, after the first quarter.
Heritage (6-14) returns to action at 6 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 20) in the Lincoln Prairie Conference Tournament at Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond. The Hawks will play the host school in their tournament opener.
Heritage is the No. 9 seed. A-L/A-H is the No. 8 seed.
