Spartan baseball hands Mount Zion 6-1 loss

Jack Robertson pitched five hitless innings on Wednesday (May 10) – but issued five walks – and was the winner as St. Joseph-Ogden handed visiting Mount Zion a 6-1 setback at Meier Field.
Robertson struck out four hitters.
Adam Price threw the last two innings, walking no one and permitting one single. He registered four strikeouts.
Price led the Spartans’ offense, going 2-for-2 while driving in two runs. Coy Taylor scored two runs and Nolan Earley knocked in two runs.
SJ-O (25-7) returns to action on Thursday (May 11) at Mattoon.
