Heritage’s Christian Paul was the individual winner on Saturday (Aug. 26) in the Doc Acklin junior high boys’ cross-country meet at Paris.
Paul’s 2-mile time was 11 minutes.
Teammate Owen Elmore finished the course in 17:49.
Both runners recorded their season-best times.
In the girls’ division, the Heritage leader was Reaghan Stierwalt (14:57). She was followed by Rylen Stierwalt (17:04), Gwen Keely (17:33) and Rhorie Stierwalt (17:53).
Reaghan Stierwalt, Rylen Stierwalt and Keely all ran their top times of the season.
Heritage returns to action on Friday (Sept. 1) at the Chrisman Cowchip Classic.
