Spartan volleyball defeats Tri-Valley in three

Senior Halle Brazelton turned in a 16-assist, eight-dig performance on Tuesday (Sept. 5) as the St Joseph-Ogden volleyball team posted a 25-23, 21-25, 25-20 non-conference win at Downs Tri-Valley.

Addie Roesch totaled nine digs, eight kills, two blocks and one service ace for the Spartans. Peyton Williams ended with six kills and five digs. Helene Jones contributed four blocks.

On Wednesday (Sept. 6), SJ-O dealt visiting Oakwood a 25-20, 25-7 setback.

Williams posted 11 kills, one dig and one service ace. Brazelton doled out 13 assists and added six digs.

SJ-O (11-2) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 11) at home against Hoopeston Area.
