Alex Acosta made the lone goal for the St. Joseph-Ogden soccer team on Saturday (Sept. 23) in a 5-1 loss at Oakwood/Salt Fork.
Acosta’s 20th goal of the year came on a penalty kick.
The teams played a scoreless first half.
Jackson Colvin and Logan Patton each had one save for the Spartans, who held a 12-10 edge in total shot attempts.
SJ-O (11-5) returns to action on Monday (Sept. 25) at home against Judah Christian.
