Heritage is looking for a new volleyball coach.
Shelley Fitzgerald has resigned as Heritage volleyball head coach.
Superintendent Tom Davis said Fitzgerald had a very successful four seasons as coach of the Hawks.
“We were very glad to have Shelley guide the team over the past four years,” he said.
The Hawks had more than 80 wins during Fitzgerald’s tenure.
“We will start the search for a new coach today and wish Shelley the best.”
Fitzgerald will continue as a secretary for the district and is also in charge of transportation in the district office.
The Hawks finished the 2018 season with a record of 23-7.
The coaching position pays $4,323 as of the 2018 season contract.
