Nikita Taylor scored a team-high 10 points on Monday (Nov. 13) for the Oakwood girls’ basketball team, which lost a 50-22 decision at Arcola.
Taylor Smoot made five points and Mady Nicoson added three points. Contributing two points apiece were Jaydah Arrowsmith and Rylee Wright.
Oakwood (0-1) returns to action on Saturday (Nov. 18) in a first-round game of the eight-school Comet Classic in Fithian. Oakwood will take on Casey-Westfield in the 5:30 p.m. contest.
