Spartans on a 4-game win streak

Sophomore Addison Brooks bagged a season-high four three-pointers on Thursday (Jan. 11) as the St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team extended its winning streak to four games.
SJ-O posted a 40-38 win at Chillicothe IVC.
Addison Frick notched two three-pointers and scored 10 points. Timera Blackburn-Kelley chipped in with seven points and Makayla Osterbur finished with six points. Addy Martinie’s three points were courtesy of a three-point basket. Katie Ericksen had the other two Spartan points.
SJ-O fell behind, 14-6, in the first stanza, but forged into a 24-20 halftime advantage.
The Spartans (10-8) return to action on Monday (Jan 15) at St. Thomas More, in Champaign.
