Heritage basketball loses in Lincoln Prairie Conference tournament game
By Fred Kroner
Rylan White pumped in a season-high 34 points – connecting on six shots from three-point range – but the Heritage boys’ basketball team was edged by Tri-County 53-50, in a Lincoln Prairie Conference tournament game on Wednesday (Jan. 24).
Heritage led 16-9, after one quarter and 31-19 at halftime against an opponent it had lost to by 50 points earlier in January.
Destin Nickle scored five points and Jacob Bensyl added four points while both Clark Roland and Brennan Struck tallied three points. James Dillon converted a free throw.
Heritage (2-20) returns to action on Tuesday (Jan. 30) at Arcola.
