Jaydah Arrowsmith scored a game-high 17 points on Thursday (Jan. 25) as the Oakwood girls’ basketball team won its third game in a row, 58-31, at Westville.
Arrowsmith bagged three three-point shots.
The Comets’ balanced scoring attack featured nine points from Nikita Taylor, eight from Taylor Smoot, six from both Bella Bradford and Rylee Wright as well as five points from Gracie Hanner, four from Luci Morris and three from Hannah Glass.
Smoot connected on two three-pointers. Both Glass and Hanner notched one three-pointer.
Oakwood led, 15-8, after one quarter and 30-12 at halftime.
The Comets (10-17) return to action on Monday (Jan. 29) at home against Iroquois West.
