SJ-O opens postseason play with win over Prairie Central

Addy Martinie made a game-high 20 points on Monday (Feb. 12) as the St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team opened postseason play with a 43-29 triumph over Prairie Central at Clifton Central.
Martinie collected four three-pointers. Addison Brooks added 10 points and sank two three-pointers. All nine of Addison Frick’s points came from beyond the three-point arc.
Timera Blackburn Kelley and Katie Ericksen both finished with two points.
SJ-O (16-11) will face Kankakee Bishop McNamara in the Class 2A regional championship game at 7 p.m. on Thursday (Feb. 15) in Clifton.
