Heritage’s Ashbrook and Denmark-Collins Secure Second Place Finishes at Tuscola Track Meet

Heritage athletes Aidan Ashbrook and Eli Denmark-Collins were each second in individual events on Thursday (March 28) in a five-school boys’ track and field meet at Tuscola.
Ashbrook was the runner-up in the 800 meters (2:19.97). Denmark-Collins was second in the 1,600 meters (5:13.00).
Clark Roland earned top-10 finishes in three different individual events. He was sixth in the 400 meters (58.60 seconds), seventh in the long jump (17-7) and 10th in the 200 meters (25.70 seconds).
Cohen Sands placed fifth in the 800 meters (2:25.59).
The Hawks had one relay which fared well.
The 3,200-meter relay foursome of Ashbrook, Denmark-Collins, Sands and Roland were third (9:14.75).
Team honors were won by Tuscola (161 points). Heritage was fifth with 17 points.
