Alec Harrison Dominates with 16 Strikeouts in Oakwood’s 10-0 Shutout Over Cissna Park

Alec Harrison pitched Oakwood’s third shutout of the season on Thursday (April 25) as the Comets blanked visiting Cissna Park, 10-0, in a six-inning game.
Harrison struck out 16 batters in his two-hitter. He issued one walk.
Jackson Dudley and Chase Harrison both clubbed two hits and stole two bases. Brody Taflinger, Cort Vermillion and Cooper Hutson finished with one hit.
Dudley and Hutson drove in two runs. Bryson Marcinko, Carsen Dudley and Alex Wallace knocked in one run apiece.
Vermillion tallied three runs. Teammates Jackson Dudley and Chase Harrison scored twice. Derek Drews, Taflinger and Marcinko crossed home plate one time each.
Oakwood (11-13) returns to action on Monday (April 29) at Armstrong-Potomac.
