Over 1,000 voters have already cast their ballots in the Champaign County consolidated elections.
In the days before the April 2, 2019 consolidated election deadline, the Champaign County Clerk’s office will open locations throughout Champaign County to make voting easy and accessible to those casting a vote.
Mail-in votes and votes cast at the Brookens Center account for the 1,000 already accounted for.
On Wednesday, the Brookens Center will extend their hours, and the Clerk’s office will open the doors at the Illini Union, Meadowbrook Church, the Leonard Center, Church of the Living God, the Elk’s Pavillion at Lake of the Woods, the Tolono Public Library, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the Gathering Place through April 1.
Additional information on April 2 voting locations will be available in the days ahead.
