Olivia Sorensen had 11 assists and five service aces on Tuesday as the Hawks swept an opponent for the sixth time, handling Arcola 25-13, 25-21 on the Purple Riders’ court.
Heritage is 2-0 in Lincoln Prairie Conference action.
Bri Struck produced six kills and five digs while Hawks’ teammate Malani Smithenry led with six digs.
Bree Buck dropped in four ace serves. Anna Sanders chipped in with five digs.
Heritage returns to action tonight at DeLand-Weldon.
Villa Grove Volleyball
Reagan Cheely distributed 11 assists and Madie Burwell pounded eight kills on Monday, but Villa Grove lost to Chrisman 25-18, 20-25, 28-26.
The Blue Devils are 5-4 overall.
