Oakwood Public Library reopens June 1
The Oakwood Public Library will reopen its door Monday, June 1 at 9 a.m. under Restore Illinois Phase 3 guidance.
Hours will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The library will operate on temporary rules:
1. Mask must be worn while inside the building
2. Only 10 people will be allowed in the building at a time
3. Computers will only be used for reference/personal/work/school (no games)
4. Computer usage will only be allowed for 30 minutes unless absolutely necessary to use longer
5. All kids must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older
6. Please try and maintain a 6ft distance from other patrons if possible
Staff is unsure when interlibrary loans will be offered again.
Curbside service continues to be available. Patrons should call 217.354.4777 for a contact free exchange of materials.
