Heritage’s Robert Holloman gets two hits in loss to Salt Fork

Robert Holloman swatted two hits on Thursday (Aug. 27) in a 16-3 loss to Salt Fork at Homer.
He had half of the team’s hits. The other safeties were by Anthony Happ and Brennan Struck.
Happ drilled a run-scoring triple, and stole two bases. Kamble Pearman also had an RBI for Heritage.
Happ allowed five hits in his 4 1/3-inning pitching stint. Rylan White worked the last 2 2/3 innings and registered two strikeouts.
On Tuesday (Sept. 1), Hoopeston Area scored a 13-1 win over visiting Heritage.
Dillon Bear scored the lone Heritage run. Bear and White (who stole a base) had the Heritage hits.
Four teammates reached base via walks: Happ, Struck, Kaden White and Jack Ballard.
Holloman pitched 3 2/3 innings and posted four strikeouts.
Heritage (0-6) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 3) at Homer against Rossville-Alvin.
