Comets place 10th at PBL Invitational
The Comets placed 10th in the Saturday (Sept. 12) Paxton-Buckley-Loda Invitational with 260 points.
Fifteen schools had runners participate, but only 10 fielded full teams.
Team honors were won by Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, which edged St. Joseph-Ogden, 57-61.
The Comets were led by Eli Ronk (44th in 19 minutes, 00.21 seconds) and Alec Harrison (49th in 19:27.09).
The school’s other competitors were: Dalton Hobick (59th in 20:09.69), Aidan Skinner (65th in 20:33.33), Jacob Taflinger (73rd in 21:01.77) and Nathan Kirby (81st in 24:10.78).
Oakwood returns to action on Thursday at the Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Invitational.
