The boys team also had a fantastic run as well, all of them placing. Kaden Wedig finishing 8th in the 400 at 56.76, Aiden Hundley finishing 6th in the 800 at 2:16.15, Jebb Aden finishing 8th in 110 hurdles at 19.27, Jack wear finishing 4th in 110 hurdles with 16.99, 7th grade 4×1 relay: Logan Wedig, Jebb Aden, Lucas Waters, Royce Loschen Alt. Dorian Davenport finishing 5th at 54.30, 8th grade 4×1 relay: Kaden Wedig, Garrett Loschen, Aiden Hundley, Jack Wear, Alt. Alex Vaughn finishing 4th at 50.32, and Garrett Loschen placing 12 at 5’1 in High jump, and Aiden Hundley placing 12th in Discus with a throw of 100’ 7”

That 6th grade group of girls (which most that you mentioned are) at PVO will be something to behold! And congrats to Atleigh!! Well deserved feature. In addition, Greta Goldenstein (a PVO 6th grader) took home 8th in discus as well!

But don’t forget the PVO boys! They had some excellent finishes at State and Sectionals as well.

A lot to be happy about and a lot to grow on for that little school.

Thank you for this transparency. Many years ago I was a vendor at the IASB meeting in Chicago where I was charged with educating school superintendents and school bus fleet managers about the benefits of biodiesel. My organization did not host hospitality suites nor did we wine and dine people. We merely handed out brochures and stood at our “booth” to offer a friendly conversation. There are good opportunities for administrators, staff and board members. However, vendors know well the people who will accept special treatment that covers entertainment costs. Clearly it is unethical to accept favors possibly setting up a quid pro quo situation which is a Latin phrase meaning “something for something.”
