The Heritage Hawks placed fifth as a team in the 60-runner Paxton-Buckley-Loda junior high boys’ cross-country race on Tuesday (Sept. 21).

Bourbonnais was the team winner with 46 points, followed by Tri-Point (52). Heritage had a composite score of 92 points.

Christian Paul was the Heritage leader, with a 2-mile time of 13 minutes and 34 seconds. He finished in 11^th place.

Rounding out the school’s lineup were: Eli Denmark-Collins (12^th in 13:35), Clark Roland (15^th in 13:57), Clayton Thomas (20^th in 14:07) and Atticus Ashbrook (57^th in 23:34).
