Kennedi Burnett’s double-double sparked the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team to a 25-8, 25-15 win at Stanford Olympia on Thursday (Oct. 14).

Burnett recorded 10 kills and 10 digs. She also had two service aces.

Hannah Fox also had 10 digs. Becca Steinbach doled out 19 assists.

Shayne Immke registered seven digs, four kills and an ace. Rachel Divan finished with three kills and three blocks.

On Saturday (Oct. 16), the Spartans journeyed to Chillicothe and swept IVC, 25-20, 28-26.

Burnett collected another double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.

Addie Roesch had eight kills and six digs. Ashley Eldridge had six kills and three blocks. Immke contributed four kills and seven digs. Divan chipped in with three blocks.

Steinbach finished with 26 assists and six digs. Burnett also had one service ace.

SJ-O (19-4) returns to action on Monday (Oct. 18) at home against Warrensburg-Latham.

A double-double by senior Kennedi Burnett lifted the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team to a two-set sweep at home against Rantoul on Thursday (Sept. 30).

Burnett totaled 10 kills and 10 digs in the Spartans’ 25-7, 25-25 triumph. She also had three blocks.

Becca Steinbach handed out 20assists. Addie Roesch landed four kills and Rachel Divan collected three kills.

Roesch and Steinbach each contributed four digs. Roesch served two aces and Steinbach added one kill.

SJ-O (13-3) returns to action on Monday (Oct. 4) at Downs Tri-Valley.

Kennedi Burnett was one kill shy of a double-double on Monday (Sept. 27) as the St. Joseph-Ogden volleyball team captured a 25-11, 25-16 victory at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.

Burnett registered 12 digs and nine kills to go along with a team-high five service aces.

Sophomores Rachel Divan and Addie Roesch each landed five kills. Divan had one block and Roesch contributed one ace.

Becca Steinbach distributed 22 assists and chipped in with four digs and one ace. Hannah Fox had eight digs and three assists.
