Oakwood Grade School PTO has been given the green light to host a Color Run on August 15.
The fundraiser, which is in its second year, will benefit Oakwood Grade School.
The 3.1 mile run/walk will begin at Oakwood Park in Oakwood, Ill. with music and activities for the whole family. Participants will then head out on the course where they will be blasted with color.
Registration is $20 per runner. The fee includes a t-shirt, a color packet and a running bib.
Due to COVID-19, all registration will have to take place online via friends and family on Paypal. The OGS PTO username is ogs_pto@yahoo.com.
Registrants must include the names and t-shirt sizes of everyone in the party. Those who cannot pay via PayPal should reach out to an OGS PTO board member. All registrants and/or guardians must also sign a waiver for each person registered at our packet pickup night.
Should a cancellation occur, the group will issue refunds as well as work on a new date to hold the Color Run.
The OGS PTO is in need of volunteers to help set up, throw color, and clean up.
