Hawks defeat Blue Ridge

After Heritage lost two games on Friday (Nov. 26) in the Cerro Gordo Tournament, dropping a 69-23 decision to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg and a 55-22 decision to Shelbyville, the Hawks concluded the week with a 46-28 victory over Blue Ridge on Saturday (Nov. 27).
Against Blue Ridge, Drew Williams totaled a game-high 18 points. Timmy Wilson netted 14 points, helping the Hawks into a 21-9 advantage at halftime. Julliyan Gray added five points.
Against Windsor/Stew-Stras, Williams hit a team-high 16 points. Robert Holloman scored three points.
Wilson was the leader against Shelbyville with 10 points. Williams contributed seven points and Joel Bear added five points.
Heritage (1-3) returns to action on Tuesday (Nov. 30) in its home-opener against Urbana Uni High.
