The St. Joseph-Ogden girls’ basketball team continued to show their strength and balance as they captured an IHSA Class 3A Regional title Friday night.
Taylor Wells, a 6’3″ senior, has not only provided a presence in the paint throughout the season but also has led or shared the scoring lead for the Spartans in the three consecutive games. Again on Friday, Wells captured 10 points in the 51-17 win over Bishop McNamara.
Recently, Wells added 11 points in a win over Pleasant Plains, 8 against Tolono Unity, 9 against Bloomington Central Catholic, and 13 against Stanford Olympia.
