OAKWOOD PUBLIC LIBRARY
On Friday, October 21st, and Saturday, October 22nd, 5 pm-9 pm both nights the Oakwood Public Library will have a Haunted Library set up for free for anyone to come to walk through. Half of the library will be turned into a spooky maze for families to walk through.
This is a family-friendly event. If it is too spooky the library will have games for little ones.

HAUNTED HALLWAYS, TRUNK-OR-TREAT, SJO HIGH SCHOOL
St. Joseph Ogden High School Student Council will host two different Halloween events next Saturday. These events are open to the SJO Community only. All proceeds from the Haunted House go to charity.

PET HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST, BJ HACKLER PARK
The SJO National Honor Society is hosting a Pet Halloween Costume Contest fundraiser for the Champaign County Humane Society as one of their fall service projects. All pets are welcome. Come by and show off your pets to the rest of the community!
entering a pet (or pets) is free, but there will be a spot for free-will donations to the Champaign County Humane Society. Any contributions are greatly appreciated! Please note that it is the responsibility of the owner(s) to take care of and clean up after their own pet(s). When possible, please keep pets, specifically dogs and cats, on leashes for the safety of all the animals attended.
There are 5 costume categories and the winner of each receives a ten-dollar gift card to PetSmart. The categories include:

Halloween in Homer!!!! There will be a Halloween party at the Village Hall on Halloween. There will be fun activities for the kids, a hay maze and a costume contest. Trunk for treats will also be here! If you would like to participate in Trunk for treats please arrive at Village hall between 5 and 5:30pm. Food trucks will also be available.

HALLOWEEN HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST! TWO HOMES WILL WIN ONE MONTH’S MINUMUM WATER BILL! JUDGES WILL DRIVE THRU TOWN ON SUNDAY OCTOBER 30TH. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON HALLOWEEN!
