Mustangs win 10th consecutive game

Kaden Wedig hit season’s highs for points (25) and three-pointers (four) on Thursday (Dec. 8) as the Prairieview Ogden eighth-grade boys’ basketball team posted a 50-26 victory at Rossville-Alvin.
Jon Couture added 14 points.
PVO led, 13-0, after one quarter.
On Saturday (Dec. 10) at Salt Fork, the Mustangs were triumphant, 38-7.
Wedig tallied 14 points. Couture ended with nine points. Scoring six points was Dalton York.
The eighth-graders have a 10-3 season record.
The Mustangs’ seventh-grade team was also triumphant on Thursday (Dec. 8), earning a 36-8 win at Rossville-Alvin.
Lane McKinney led the way with 12 points. Jameson Ehler contributed six points as did Airin Rash.
PVO led, 17-0, after the first period.
On Saturday (Dec. 10), the Mustangs won their 10th consecutive game, going on the road and securing a 35-8 victory at Salt Fork.
McKinney nailed 17 points. Royce Loschen generated six points. Ehler and Lucas Waters each had four points.
The PVO seventh-graders have a 12-1 overall record.
The Mustangs return to action on Thursday (Dec. 15) at Westville.
