Spartans on 10-game win streak

St. Joseph-Ogden’s winning streak hit 10 games on Friday (Feb. 10) with a 67-48 victory at home over Tolono Unity.

Ty Pence paced the Spartans with 24 points and nine rebounds.

Pence bagged four three-pointers.

Logan Smith added 13 points and added seven rebounds and five assists.

Scoring seven points apiece were Tanner Jacob, Tanner Siems and Coy Taylor. Jacob and Siems each nailed one three-point shot.

Taylor hauled down four rebounds and had three assists.

Maddux Carter hit two three-pointers and scored six points. In his last three games, Carter has drilled eight three-point shots.

The Spartans are 24-4 and close out the regular season on Tuesday (Feb. 14) at home against Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
